BWCI Group Completes Acquisition of Polygon Pensions in Jersey

BWCI Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Polygon (Jersey) Limited and Polygon Pension Trustees Limited (Polygon Pensions), a Jersey based provider of personal and corporate pensions, trustee and administration services.

The transaction follows a comprehensive due diligence process and receipt of the necessary regulatory consents from the Jersey Financial Services Commission. Polygon Pensions will now operate as part of BWCI Group, significantly strengthening the Group’s pensions capability in Jersey.

The acquisition represents an important step in BWCI Group’s long-term strategy to grow its Channel Islands pensions business bringing together two complementary businesses with deep technical expertise, strong track records, and established relationships within the Jersey community.

Polygon Pension’s experience in pension trusteeship enhances BWCI’s ability to deliver end-to-end pension solutions, supports the Group’s existing Jersey proposition, and positions the combined business for future growth in Jersey’s evolving pensions landscape.

Stephen Ainsworth, Senior Partner at BWCI Group, commented:

“We are delighted to have completed the acquisition of Polygon Pensions. This is a high quality business with an excellent pedigree and strong client and IFA relationships. Bringing Polygon Pensions into BWCI significantly strengthens our Jersey business and gives us the scale, skills and governance capability to support the next phase of pensions growth on the island.

Most importantly, this is a business that aligns strongly with our culture and long-term approach, placing technical excellence, client service and integrity at the centre of everything we do.”

Lisa Toland Managing Director, Polygon Pensions, added:

This marks a very positive next chapter for Polygon Pensions. BWCI shares our values, our commitment to high standards, and our focus on delivering robust, well governed pension solutions for clients and advisers alike.

Joining BWCI provides our team with access to wider Group resources and expertise, while ensuring continuity for our clients and IFAs. We are excited about the opportunities this creates for our people and for the continued development of the Jersey pensions market.”

There will be no immediate change for Polygon Pension’s clients, introducers or service arrangements. The combined business will focus on ensuring a smooth integration, maintaining continuity of service, and identifying opportunities to enhance offerings over time.

BWCI Group looks forward to welcoming Polygon Pensions into the wider Group and working together to grow our Jersey business.

As part of the integration of the businesses, Polygon Pensions and BWCI (Jersey) Limited have moved to new offices. As of 1 May 2026, the Jersey office has moved to De Carteret House, 7 Castle Street, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3BT. Only the address has changed, our other contact details remain the same.
