Diana Simon is our Managing Partner but she previously held a much more important role when she joined the company in 1981…tea lady! As was practice back then the most junior member of staff would make the morning and afternoon teas and coffees for the entire office.
.

.
Di joined as BWCI’s very first trainee actuary to qualify locally and progressed through all the exams to become a fully qualified actuary in 1988. Diana became a Partner of the Group in 1991. She advises Channel
Islands, Isle of Man, UK and international clients on a wide range of employee benefit issues, including scheme design, funding valuations and regulatory compliance. Di also takes overall responsibility for Finance and HR in the company.
.
If running a company of 140 staff wasn’t enough to do Di keeps herself busy by volunteering as welfare officer and chief canteen lady at Sylvans football club. Any moment spare after that she dedicates to running round after her 6 grandchildren.
.
We think Di is a great inspiration and example of how women can excel in their career along with raising a family and giving back to the community.
